The Russian Cup is over, and 6 women have been named to the training camp that will take place in the Siberian city of Leninsk-Kuznetsky starting next week.

Winning the All-Around at the Cup is the relatively unknown Ksenia Afanasyeva, who outscored her teammate Ksenia Semyonova 60.850 to 59.925.

According to International Gymnast Magazine, Semyonova, the 2007 World ChampionĀ on Uneven Bars, as well as the 2008 European Champion on the Uneven Bars and Balance Beam, had general execution deductions and a fall on the Vault in the second day.

The six gymnasts named to the travel squad are:

1. Ksenia Afanasyeva
2. Ksenia Semyonova
3. Yekaterina Kramarenko
4. Anna Pavlova
5. Yulia Lozhechko
6. Kristina Goryunova

Long-time Russian presence Yelena Zamolodchikova finished in 12th after day two, making it very likely that Zamo will not be attending her 3rd Olympic Games. Lyudmila Yezhova Grebenkova, the 26-year-old Muscovite finsihed the weekend in 10th place, making it unlikely that she will compete in Beijing.
