The 2009 edition of the Glasgow World Cup event is complete, and five countries will return home with gold medals.

On the women’s side, Russia’s Ekatarina Kurbatova won gold on the Vault, while Great Britain’s Beth Tweddle makes a repeat performance from that of the European Championships in April,  taking home gold medals on the Uneven Bars and Floor Exercise. Dutch Balance Beam star Sanne Wevers takes the gold on that event.

On the men’s side, Diego Hypolito of Brasil returned to his proper form taking home gold medals on the Floor Exercise and Vault. Britain’s Louis Smith won the gold on Pommel Horse while The Netherlands’ Yuri van Gelder won on the Still Rings. DPR-Korea’s Kim Jin Hyok won top honors on the Parallel Bars, and Dutch star Epke Zonderland captured the gold on the Horizontal Bar.
